Costumes and props from many past productions at the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) in Washington, D.C., will be on sale to the public at the STC Bazaar, Saturday, July 11. Also for sale: a large selection of gently used furniture, artwork, kitchen supplies, and more from the company's guest artist apartments.
The event, at STC's administrative offices and rehearsal studio, 507 8th St. SE near Eastern Market in downtown D.C., runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sale will feature head-to-toe costume pieces from Much Ado About Nothing, The Government Inspector, and Measure for Measure. Props range from hand props to large furniture from The Importance of Being Earnest, Design for Living, and The Winter’s Tale. Prices begin at $1 and go up from there.
